Corporate social responsibility
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) means the social and ethical responsibility of Scandinavian Human Rights Lawyers in society. CSR permeates our entire organization and all our work. Through our CSR program, we work actively to understand the needs that exist in our society and how we best can assist through our skills, experience, time and support.
Scandinavian Human Rights Lawyers' social and ethical responsibility means that we actively cooperate with voluntary organizations and that all the lawyers at the firm devote part of their time to our pro bono program, ie. to volunteer work. An example of this is our Legal Aid Clinic in Stockholm and Uppsala.
OUR CORE VALUES
We base our work on the principle of human dignity and on natural law. Our governing documents are the European Convention on Human Rights, The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN Declaration with its conventions, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the European Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings.

We are also a proud sponsor of Situation Sthlm. Situation Sthlm helps homeless and socially marginalized people to create a more dignified life for themselves through work and freedom of speech. With newspaper sales as a base, Situation Sthlm runs a social activity that in several ways tries to support the sellers’ way back to society.
